Events must either be hosted  by  Sons of Confederate Veterans  Camp,  Virginia Division or the SCV International.

All Day ~  A Silent Auction will be held to benefit future events and will continue through the luncheon on Saturday 


(Each presentation will be approximately 45 minutes followed by a question and answer period)

We strongly encourage individuals who are in attendance for the weekend to avoid any protest groups that may invade downtown.   We strongly discourage any confrontation which would not be in the spirit of Lee or Jackson, nor Martin Luther King, Jr. who encouraged his followers during his lifetime to leave the Confederate flag and memorials alone to encourage peace, not division.

10:30 am - Wreath Laying and Military Salute in the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery at the gravesite of General Thomas J. 'Stonewall' Jackson.  Come witness a solemn military ceremony at Jackson Circle in front of the grave and life-size statue of the General.

 (Those who wish to lay wreaths should arrive at least 15 minutes early and give notification of presenters name and unit)

11:15 am - Lee-Jackson Day Parade Visitors are welcomed to join in the procession or watch.  All SCV, UDC, OCR, and reenactor groups are welcomed to participate.  Any other groups must contact us to ensure participation as we reserve the right to deny participation to any group or individual)

At 1:30 pm.

The 213th Anniversary of his Birthday 

   The Confederate War Memorial Chapel is located at 2900 Grove Avenue at The Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23220. Parking on grounds at VMFA. 

Author and speaker William Connery will present his program,

"Honoring President Robert E Lee". 


    The service will also feature period music accompanied on the newly restored organ and a special message from President Dwight D. Eisenhower. 

   Several restoration projects have recently been completed in the sanctuary and on the grounds  and plans are being developed for the stained-glass windows.
